It recognizes projects, processes, or programs that connect sustainability efforts to tangible environmental, employee, and client impacts.

   - Demonstrates integration of sustainability into the organization's mission, objectives, and strategies.
   - Programs should embed sustainability into daily real estate and facilities operations.
2. Comprehensive Impact
   - Projects must show a clear link between the sustainability strategy and program outcomes.
   - Breadth of impact on employees, clients, and the environment.
3. Measurable Success
   - Sustainability programs should include measurable components, such as reduced emissions or resource usage.
   - Stand-alone programs not tied to the organizational mission or strategy are not considered.
4. Program Integration
   - Judges prefer bundled initiatives that represent the organization's overarching sustainability efforts.
5. Optional Post-Occupancy Evaluation
   - Projects can include details about sustainable practices integrated into ongoing operations and maintenance.

Economic Development -
Major Deals and Projects

The CoreNet Global - North Texas Chapter Economic Development Major Deals and Projects Award recognizes best practices and the development of innovative, economically promising projects that significantly contribute to the growth and prosperity of a community or region.

1. Recruitment of Major Companies
   - Attracting new companies to the region, resulting in substantial capital investments or job creation.
2. Expansion of Existing Companies
   - Supporting the growth and development of established businesses within the community.
3. Forward-Thinking Design and Development

Workplace Strategy (50k sf or less)

The CoreNet Global - North Texas Chapter Workplace Strategy Award recognizes corporate workplace strategies for projects in the North Texas region. These projects demonstrate innovation and purposeful design that significantly enhance the organization’s ability to meet its core business goals. The award honors the end user, with recognition extended to the broker, design firm, contractor, and furniture provider.

   - Demonstrated enhancements to core business operations and working environments.
2. Innovative Use of Technology
   - Integration of cutting-edge technology to support workplace strategies.
3. Cost Efficiency and Productivity
   - Evidence of cost reduction or cost neutrality while improving productivity.

   - Deployment of unique and innovative concepts to improve the workplace environment.

   - Applicability of the solution to other organizations, showcasing its versatility and replicability.
